There has been a lot of debate on the anti-piracy bills that are currently doing rounds in the US parliament. It has been in the news for a long time and has just reached it tipping point with sites like WordPress, Wikipedia and many other sites blocking their services for a whole day. While we all know and somewhat reluctantly agree that piracy is wrong, why are sites like Google, WordPress and Wikipedia protesting. This post is to answer one simple question..
